My Garden
I love flowers. I think I inherited it from my Mom and Ba (Grandma). This was one of the first flower beds Roy and I planted when we did our landscaping. I have lots of Asiatic and Oriental lilies that my Mom got me. This bed also has the first clematis we ever planted. It is beautiful. I have several now but this one has the most blooms and the prettiest flowers.

Tiger Game
Last Sunday we took Mia to her first Tiger game. All and all she did pretty good. Comerica Park gave her a certificate signifying her first game, it had the date and her name on it We went with our friends Dawn, Jason, and Cora. We all had fun but we won't take the girls back again until next year ;)

Botanical Gardens
This past Wednesday Roy and I took Mia to the Matthaei botanical gardens. We have never been and I have always wanted to go. In doing some research I realized the conservatory is free on Wednesdays. So, it worked out to be a great day to visit. We walked through the conservatory, which had these beautiful orchids. We then walked the grounds, which had some really great outdoor gardens and walking trails. It also gave us a chance to test out the Jeep stroller, the all terrain stroller is awesome!

Chicks Rock
I got Mia this bib that says Chicks Rocks, it has a chickadee on it with shades. My Mom was over when Mia was first wearing the bib so she popped her shades on Mia.

My 31st Birthday
This past Monday was my 31st birthday. We had a really fun weekend of celebrating. I had a birthday pedicure Saturday afternoon and went to Benihana with some friends for dinner. We celebrated with the family on Sunday. Roy took me to see Coldplay on Tuesday. It was a great birthday "week".
Age has never bothered me, I think of it as just a number. This year was no different. However, I felt more nostalgic this year. Thinking how it has been 10 years since I celebrated my 21st, 15 years since I started driving . . . time really does fly by.
