Mmm good . . .

We fed Mia cereal for the first time today. I am not sure how much of it she actually swallowed but she did a great job letting us feed her. She never fussed and even gave us some smiles.

Getting ready . . .
Strapped in, bib in place, ready to go . . .
Yummy!!

Another cute outfit . . .

My Mom got this outfit for Mia, I just love it!

Happy Easter

Mia's first Easter was a success. She looked extra cute ;) and had a great day with the family. She even got three Easter baskets, the Easter bunny is already more than generous!

Opening Day

Roy and I got tickets for the two of us to go to opening day. Mia stayed home and watched the game with Grandma and Grandpa ;) After a lot of iffy weather forecasts it turned out to be sunny, breezy, and in the upper 50's the better part of the game. Not to mention the Tigers won 15-2. All and all it was a really great day!!

Mia being silly with Dad . . .
View from our seats . . . we were pretty high up but the view was great.

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'

On April 1st Mia rolled over for the first time. Roy was home alone with her in the morning and she rolled over twice. On April 2nd she rolled over for me. Today she rolled over for my Mom. I don't have any photos of her rolling but these photos show some other things she is doing right now.

It is a bit harder these days for me to get a picture of Mia smiling. She constantly has her hands in her mouth and when I sit her down all she wants to do is lean forward so she can sit on her own. Very big girl :)
Mia loves to lay on the floor and play. She kicks, does tummy time, and plays with her toys, she is sometimes down there for well over an hour.
I think she likes tummy time more now because she can get up on her elbows to look around . . .

Mia and Madi

Last weekend Cara, Steve, and Madi came for a visit . . .

Happy Birthday Ba

Let me first start by explaining who Ba is. Ba is my grandma, my Mom's Mom. I apparently wasn't very good at saying Grandma when I was a kid so I started to call her Ba (and my late Grandfather was named Pa) and have called her that ever since. It just doesn't seem right to call her Grandma. I guess that would make her Mia's Great Ba :) Anyway, on Friday my Mom, Mia, and I went to visit Ba for her birthday. Mia was really great . . . smiling, talking, and playing on her blanket.
