Happy Birthday Grandma Debbie

My Mom's birthday is July 15 (one of our many July birthdays). The following weekend we celebrated with dinner at Buca Di Beppo. Mia did really good sitting in the high chair playing with her toys and watching the other tables.

Toys, Toys, Toys

Mia has been having so much fun with her toys lately. We have been trying to pull out things we have had stashed in her closet since the shower. We got this ball popper as a gift at the shower. I realized it said 9 months + so I figured it was time to pull it out. She doesn't fully understand how to put the balls back in but she loves to watch everything this toy does.
The excersaucer has been Mia's favorite ever since we started to put her in it. There are so many different things she can play with on it. She has been putting things in her mouth and holding them there without using her hands. She is so silly!

The Jacobsens are back

Our friends Cary, Steve, and Lia have moved back from Chicago. Cary and Lia came to visit Mia and I. I didn't get a good shot of the girls together but I did get this really cute picture of Lia. She is just too cute!!

Happy Birthday Gram

July is loaded with birthdays in our family. Roy's Mom's is on the 13th so we headed over to their house for a visit so we could celebrate.

Grandpa's Birthday

My Dad's birthday is on July 3rd so we often celebrate his birthday and the 4th all at the same time. This year we celebrated at my parents with my Ba and Bernie.
This picture cracks me up. It is hard enough to get an 8 month old to look at the camera but when the adults won't even look I have real problems :)

A stroll through Maybury

Roy had a day off over 4th of July weekend so we took Mia to Maybury state park. It was her first trip on the swings and down a slide. She really liked it. We also walked a trail through the park before we left. It was a really peaceful morning. Mia got a little tired towards the end but it was a fun outing.
