Roy's Birthday

We had our family over to celebrate Roy's birthday. We decided to make grilled pizza's, which everyone had a lot of fun with.

I kept trying to get a picture of Mia and her cousin Courtney but everyone time I called for Mia to look at me she looked at Courtney. I thought the picture still turned out cute.
Singing happy birthday . . .
Blowing out the candles . . .

Greenfield Village

We went with our friends (Phill, Danielle, Dylan, and Kaylan) to Greenfield Village on one of Roy's days off a couple of weeks ago.
They have a pass that was not only able to get us in but also allowed us to ride the rides. For all of the times I have been to the village I never done the Model T's. They were fun. Dylan especially enjoyed them.
Look at that sweet little face, what a cutie!!

Mia's 1st ride on a carousel, she seemed to really like it . . .

Visiting Daddy's work

Roy had last Thursday off of work. We intended to spend the day outside but the weather was awful (hot, steamy, and thunderstorms). So instead we decided to take Mia to his work as we hadn't done that yet. Mia got to meet lots of Roy's friends and we even got to go and have lunch at Mongolian BBQ.
Hanging in Dad's cube . . . see how Mia's little hand is on that box of suckers? A second later those suckers were all over the floor :)

Fathers Day

I think you can tell by these pictures that Roy is really enjoying being a Dad. Although we know Mia isn't making an association it is fitting she has been saying da-da over and over (and over!!) again these past couple of weeks. We had a good Fathers Day celebration with both sets of our parents. I made Roy's requested meal . . . beer can chicken, homemade mac-n-chz, corn, grilled garlic bread, and peanut butter pie. It was a great day!

Canton Fireworks

My parents live in a great location to watch Canton's fireworks. We had a bbq over their house and watched the fireworks with my Aunt Cindy and Uncle Martin.

Toy Time

My parents bought Mia some drums. As you can see she just loves them . . .

Theresa's 3rd Birthday

This past Saturday we went to our friend Theresa's 3rd birthday party. Mia liked it when Roy dipped her feet in the pool, she was kicking her feet. She took in everything that was going on around us and had some of her "stranger anxiety" when people got too close :)

It is easier to make a 3 year old smile for the camera than a 7 month old!
